Meet Dr. Naresh A Kalra
Dr. Kalra continually upgrades his skills in all dental techniques through continuing education and his affiliations with several dental associations. Florida Department of Professional Regulation requires that dentists attend educations seminars for 30 hours in a 2 year period, but Dr. Kalra has more than doubled that number every 2 year period since starting his practice. With all his hard work and determination to keep his patients as his number one priority, Dr. Kalra was recognized as one of “Americas Top Dentist” in 2012 for implants, orthodontics, and family dentistry.
Dr. Kalra is an active member of the dental community. He has been a member International Association for Orthodontics, is a current member in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kalra has been a President for the Tampa Bay Academy of General Dentistry then a Board Member at the large level and now is a National Delegate for the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kalra has a computerized practice and follows strict infection control procedures. He is dedicated to providing top-notch, quality dental treatment with compassion and care to people who care for quality. He has even taken time to organize and participate in past Tampa area health fairs where he speaks over the importance oral health and what his practice does to help people. His ultimate goal is that more and more people should achieve healthy mouths, bright smiles and ultimate good health.

Meet Dr. Rajiv Kalra
Dr K is a Tampa Bay native; he attended Hillsborough High School and went on to attend the University of Florida for his bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. After graduating with his doctorate of dental medicine, Dr. K spent two years practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Dr. K met his now wife, Priya Kalra, while living in Washington D.C. and they recently got married and moved to Tampa.
Dr. K is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He enjoys learning about new technology and advances in the dental community and is passionate about helping his patients obtain pain relief and delivering dentistry in a safe and pain-free manner. He was recently awarded a certificate for completing an aesthetic continuum, which enhances his expertise in cosmetic dentistry.
In his spare time he enjoys teaching the community about dental health by organizing health fairs as well as participating in well-recognized events such as the Special Olympics: Special Smiles and Mission of Mercy.
Dr. K is excited to be back in his hometown, and proud to be working at Agoka Dental alongside his father. He is looking forward to meeting you and providing exceptional dental care.
